Old Town Hastings - step back in time, Hastings Old Town in East Sussex is a seaside town with a rustic charm, a collection of houses, shops and pubs lay between two cliffs. The area is small so can be explored on foot.
Cliff Railways - the East Hill Lift provides access to Hastings Country Park which overlooks the Old Town and Rock-a-Nore. It was in the country park that Hastings resident John Logie Baird, the inventor of television, got the inspiration which led to his first TV experiments.
The lift provides views over the Stade, home to the largest beach launched fishing fleet in Europe.

The Hastings Fishermen’s - is a small museum focusing on the fishing industry and maritime history of Hastings in East Sussex. There is an external display with a variety of boats, inside visit the deck of the last Hastings’ sailing lugger Enterprise built in 1912.
The Smugglers Adventure - tells the history of of smugglers, bootleggers and warring bloodthirsty gangs in this area. More than 70 life-size characters, interactive displays, eerie lighting and sound effects and dramatic recreations bring this mysterious and often bloody world vividly to life.
Hastings Pier - is a classic British pier that you would want to visit if you find yourself in Hastings. On the pier are a wide variety of acts and entrainment for you to enjoy.
The Shipwreck Museum - has artefacts from many ships wrecked in the English Channel from the Goodwin Sands in Kent to Pevensey Bay in East Sussex including the Amsterdam a Dutch East Indiaman of 1749 and the Anne of 1690 also the Charles II warship.
